I SAW YOU & YOU SAW ME UNDER THE SPREADING CHESTNUT TREE

SAMHAIN

Precious Days are upon Us. Beltane draws its cloak as a time of Honoring life and seed. Now the Full Moon calls to The Harvest and the time in between The time of growth is ended and the Harvest looms hard ahead. The time for Samhain will begin with Honoring not the present and growth But what has passed and become as memory. That suspended time betwixt what is growth and what is cold to the touch.

The Tragically Hip will be put away as summer songs and it is time for Songs from the woods. Time for Jethro Tull and Loreena McKennitt Time to Celtic Up for the leaves shall fall but the roots will huddle in and survive the cold days to come. Have You ever jumped off a cliff or diving board or fallen a distance Has a memory of time been upon You? When the rug of life is pulled out and You scream to the ceilings above You? A time when the universe stands still because all reality shifted. The Pain the joy is all the same overwhelmed by time.
That suspended time now as we change branches on the Irish Tree of Life. The Fall The Harvest The time between when all is alive in the mind when growth and the coldness are so near to each other. A single light in a window of time. How few we have How Many we call. How precious the times. 44 Days of Harvest Feast and contemplation for "the Days then turn into years and still no tomorrow appears.. So think awhile for I may never think again"
Welcome hither the Fóghmhar Time of Our Harvest. When the Vine leaves fall crisply and the Ivy climbs higher.
